STORAGE:

CHEESECAKES: Thaw Eli’s Cheesecakes overnight in the refrigerator or at room temperature for up to 2 hours. Once thawed, store in the refrigerator, tightly wrapped, for up to 5 days.

Frozen: Eli’s Cheesecakes can be stored frozen at zero degrees (0F) for up to 6 months, tightly wrapped. Refrigerated: Once thawed, store, covered, up to 5 days in the refrigerator.

To serve, remove thawed dessert from box and remove shrink wrap and collar, if applicable. Remove the papers from each slice before serving.

 

LAYER CAKES AND DESSERT BARS: Thaw Eli’s cakes and bars at room temperature for 2-3 hours. Once thawed, store at room temperature, tightly wrapped, for up to 5 days.
Frozen: Eli’s cakes and bars can be stored frozen at zero degrees (0F) for up to 6 months, tightly wrapped. Once thawed, store refrigerated at room temperature for up to 5 days.

To serve, remove thawed dessert from box and remove shrink wrap and collar, if applicable. Remove the papers from each slice before serving if needed.

HANDLING:

To serve, remove thawed dessert from box and remove shrink wrap, if applicable. Remove Eli’s slices and tray desserts using an offset spatula and plate immediately. If you are displaying whole cakes, remove from the package and plate while frozen.

For picture-perfect results, Eli’s desserts are best to cut when frozen or slightly thawed (approximately 20-30 minutes at room temperature). Use a sharp 10″-12″ chef’s knife. Dip knife into hot water before each cut and wipe the knife clean after each cut for best results.
